Dr Mai Vu
Victoria
Mai is a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne, based at the Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunology. Her research harnesses nanoparticle technologies, including mRNA lipid nanoparticles, to deliver next-generation vaccines and therapeutics against respiratory viruses such as SARS-CoV-2 and influenza. With expertise spanning nanoparticle engineering, immunology, and virology, she leads cross-disciplinary projects that aim to enhance both mucosal and systemic immunity. Mai is passionate about translating RNA technologies into impactful healthcare solutions and currently the Victoria representative and Treasurer on the A-RNA EMCR committee.
